Well, I had myself an adventure yesterday and drove 4 hours round trip to pick this beautiful Lakland USA 55-94.
The guy I bought it from purchased it new in 2014 and never played it. Kept it in the case under the bed. Never even changed the stock strings. Needless to say, this bass is in mint like new condition.
I swapped out the old battery, that was beyond dead, with a nice new Duracell and had my tech put some D'Addario steels on and lower the action just a hair. Plays effortlessly!
Very happy with this one! Now, on to a few pics!
