A bit late, but ok. Got this from an uncle of my wife when we went home for the holidays. He's a guitarist; this was given to him by a friend at a venue he played at and he passed it along to me as a gift, along with a pretty nice Road Runner gig bag. Finish is a lot more beat up then it appears in the photo, and in desperate need of a setup and new strings, but I can remedy that easily enough. Haven't plugged her in yet, so no idea of the electronics are working. Oh well, it's cool looking, I didn't have a shorty or a P in the stable, and there's no beating the price!

The Order of the Tort convened and reported that the only color that is not enhanced by a slice of tort-loaf is large, metallic flake. Large, metallic flake paint is, apparently, tort's only known kyrptonite.
One of the bass players for one of the bands at Times Square NYE had a gold metal flake Precision. I've never seen one like that. Lots of bling!

Thanks! I've got a set of D'Addario's on order, but I'll give those a try when they wear out.
Short scale P bass is next on my list. I've got a bronco with the pickup upgrade as a temp till I find one.
I wouldn't go with the mother of toilet seat. Might not make the flake stand out quite as much.
If I were going to change anything (and that's a big IF since it looks so great right now) I'd put a black PG and HW on it. Black would set off the flake to the maximum, and tie in with the headstock logo.
