NBD: Sandberg Forty Eight

Received my Sandberg Forty Eight yesterday... And it rocks! I got to test drive it last night on a rehearsal and it cuts through awesomely, like I expected it to. Definitely strong mids presence, I boosted the lows and highs a bit and found the thunder. :bassist:
It isn't the lightest bass, but it does balance decently. Looks like it's a keeper!

Congrats on the new Sandberg Forty Eight! I am awaiting the arrival of a Tobacco Burst Forty Eight in early Jan., so keep posting feedback and rock on!

Man, they hav our bass heritagee no problems trying new stuff and yet somehow tipping their hat to old ideas over at Sandberg.

Exactly my thoughts. I have only played one Sandberg (just two weeks ago), but seen quite a lot of them. Nice mix, keeping the best of our bass heritage while embracing change. And really good quality, as it seems.

Just a couple of thoughts:
I played the Bass just one day after arrived. No major adjustments necessary other than tuning.
I appreciate those details when delivering an instrument.
It fits in a regular Ritter gigbag, but not in Sandbergs, so it comes without gigbag. But, since it is small enough, no problem flying with it though.
