NBD: Stack knob Sonic Blue Jazz

just got back off of an East Coast run, and picked this up as soon as I got home. Got it for a good price. MJT faded sonic blue body, allparts neck, lollar pickups, custom cellulose pickguard, Madison's Music stack knob control plate, etc, etc .... all high quality parts.

Anyway, I mostly like the way it looks, and it sounds like a good stack knob jazz bass should. I will probably do a bit of work to it, but it's great as it sets.

The color is hard to photograph properly... it's probably closest to the second and fourth photographs....but no pics, no bass...so....

Well that's the business! I've said before that tort isn't really my thing but on sonic blue it really is the dog's danglers! Add in rosewood with dot markers and it's right in my sweet spot.

They do sound good. I will be putting those aside though, saving them for a rainy day or for specific things. Gonna put some GHS brite flats on there. Thump thump !
