I just purchased this beauty from a local TB'er here in the classifieds after trying to put off the urge for this bass for days. It is on its way to me and I must say that I'm pretty excited to own my first STR bass.

I received this bass today. First thing I did was take the strings off and clean it and condition the Fretboard and installed new set of TI Flats. Wow...this bass is simply amazing in every way. The craftsmanship, on every part is simply superb. The tone is what really sets it apart. The Nordstrand dual coils and Aguilar preamp is powerful and punches you in the gut. I've never been more satisfied with a bass purchase. Alright I've got to sale my other bass now to make way for my custom build by these guys. I'm completely blown away by this bass.

I have Devin with D-Cline designs making me some custom wood knobs consisting of Buckeye Burl, Ebony, gold ring insert for the dots to match the material of this bass. I think it will complete it. It is my wife's Christmas present to me this year lol.

First gig update last night with me and all the band members. We was playing and our lead guitar player had walked off the stage and to the bathroom. When he returned he was blown away at the tone this bass was putting out. He kept saying he had never heard a bass sound so good. He then asked if he could see it and I had the chance to walk out in the audience and listen to it as he played it. I was blown away with what i was hearing. This bass is simply amazing in build and tone. I've never had a bass come close to this. It has me really looking forward to my custom build from them in a few months. STR simply blows anything I've seen in the 3-$5000 price range.
