I jumped over this gorgeous 1984 Roadstar II series RB950 in Marine sunburst.
I wasn't on the market for a new bass...just fooling around on the internet and...(I know, I know, that's what everybody says).
The guy who sold it too me was kind and friendly, the price was too good to leave it there, and I will turn 50 in a few days, so I got myself a present.
It has some scars, but I don't care too much for the finish on a 38 years old instrument.
It's in perfectly working condition. Not too heavy (compared to his relatives '81 RS924 and my '84 MC924), great neck, huge all passive tone.
I'm happy!

Nice! :) My 1st bass was a RB850, black from 1986. I bought it brand new with lawn mowing money! ( I thought it looked like Geddy's Wal bass in the Big Money video ;)) I still have it but had the frets removed and coated the fretboard in poly urethane. It's fretless MWAH city! :)

Congrats!
Brent
