I wasn't going to post this one, but, I'm a little too in awe of this thing not to share. I just got this yesterday, it's unbelievable. I set it up with my happy nylon tapewound strings, and even though the B string doesn't fit so well (I have medium scale strings on the way), action and intonation, playing, etc... are amazing. I think the medium scale works better for me, so 5 strings are actually an option now.

I've got a 4 string model, these things kill. I didn't think I would like the flatter radius but that neck is so sweet I don't even notice. Quite possibly the best semi hollow made right now.

I had no idea about the radius until I was setting it up, but it doesn't bother me at all either (I actually like it). It plays like butter and sounds soooo good. What's your 4 string look like?

Same as yours one less string. mine isn't a custom shop, however it has some custom shop hardware that the standards don't generally come with, may have been a special order or just some upgrades by previous owner, either way its a great bass, I am very impressed every time I pick it up.

Thanks! My La Bella medium scale nylon tapewound strings came in today. The bass is happier now (I had long scale strings on it). I really like the medium scale and neck radius, it feels very natural for me. Maybe playing guitar for 25 years before getting serious about bass has something to do with that.
