About 3 years I rediscovered my love for metal. As a result of that I became reacquainted with guitar and actually bought a decent 7 string. I wrote a bunch of music that I couldn’t play (on guitar) haha so paid someone else to track the tunes and got in touch with a drummer I grew up with (We’re still mid-production currently). I had originally intended on just getting my chops on par and being a guitarist for this project and then I saw this at a local music store…

No more guitar and no more Bongo! (Thank you Obscura, Beyond Creation, and First Fragement for the inspiration).

I’ve always purchased basses based on the looks on Reverb, Craigslist, etc and honestly I would have never picked this one out haha I’m not into natural finishes but this thing just suits me. I haven’t played 6 strings in more than 10 years now but I was immediately comfortable on this. The neck is THIN and the string spacing is great. For a 6 string it’s incredible how playable it is. I’m obsessed with tone. I’m really excited to get this metal album recorded so I can get back on my Jazz chops.

Lots of work to do!
