I got this back at the end of October. Cosmetically, real nice, but physically, it was pretty sad. Two sheared-off pots, no power, and although original, a fried speaker. So off to Alpha Sound for amp repairs and to The Speaker Medic for speaker rebuild. I've just completed it's re-hab and it now looks and sounds super.
There is no proof, but the guy that I got it from said that it belonged to Mickey Newbury and had been in Mickey's old lake house for over thirty years. According to Wikipedia, Mickey Newbury was a musician/songwriter and recording artist that died in 2002. He wrote hits for Don Gibson, Tom Jones, Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, Andy Williams, Eddy Arnold and Elvis Presley and also had some recording success of his own. He had over 1,500 versions of his songs recorded over many genres of music. In 1969 is married and moved to Old Hickory Lake outside of Nashville, which is where this combo reportedly came from.
