need help choosing cable

i am completely new to bass and i was just wondering if the fender performance cable is any good for a bass guitar.

My ear is not developed enough to hear the difference between a 10- cable and a 50- cable.

My eyes are able to tell the difference between a 10- black cable and a 15- sea foam green cable though

As an aside... A good cable is a Godsend. Budget cables are usually your first source of trouble.... And usually at the most inopportune time. Like mid set at a gig. But the Fender Performance series is a decent cable.
