Need Help on Fender Rumble

I’ve got a Rumble 500 head coupled with a 15in cabinet. I think it’s time to upgrade my unit. Will it be 2x10 or 4x10. Not looking for more volume. Looking for that right in the pocket sound. We don’t line out through the PA so everything is coming from the stage.manly 60,70 with blues and country. Opinions

Adjust your eq. Driver size has nothing to do with frequency response. 10's aren't inherently "tighter" than 15's.

The OP didn't say that he had a Rumble 15. I agree that adding (2) matched cabs would be the way to go. I personally like the (2) 210 approach, and the Rumble V3 210 cab would be perfect.

I use a Rumble 150 with a 4x10 at rehearsal studio, sounds good.

Are you comfortable with the head's EQ? If so, has it helped?

Every player has a favorite tone: 'right in the pocket' as you said. But what does that mean tone wise for you? Can you describe what you are looking for, and whats lacking or in over-abundance? Also tell us about your instrument and strings.
