Need info about an Old Peavey Grind BXP bass

I am a HUGE Peavey fan. Have a Grind 4, Grind 5 and Cirrus 4.
I just found a strange bass. It says on headstock - Grind BXP. However:
1. it is ACTIVE (with 3 band EQ), the grinds I have are passive.
2. I has a J/P configuration pickups. The grind bxp that I have has 2 VLF humbuckers.
3. Serial number 02050572
4. It has a BOLT ON neck
5. Looks like this

Any info on it? Is it Mahogany? is it Basswood? What pickups are on it?

I believe that is a first generation Grind. The first two years they had PJ pickups and a two band active preamp with a push/pull to switch Passive/Active.
