New 1*15 home practice rig question

So I ordered a semi custom 15" cab for practice at home and I'm not sure about the ideal setup. I ordered it upright and intended to place the amp (which I don't have yet) on top. Since I'm contemplating getting a tiny amp like the Trace Elliot Elf I was thinking I could just get the cab in the horizontal config (little smaller and lighter) and use an amp stand to have it pointed at me. I might even get a power amp in pedal form like a Mooer Baby Bomb since I don't need much volume and use pedal preamps anyways. That way I don't need to put an amp atop the cab and it might sound better pointed at me. What do you say?

I don’t understand why it matters. For home practice, you can put the cab vertical, or horizontal, or up on a chair, or leaning against the wall, or whatever you need. Not sure why the size of the amp matters either.
