Need Help
Hi,, i'm new to this site and my english is terrible.

I just buy a new Cort B5 Plus AS RM from a local store. The passive work normally but when i switch to active, no sounds at all. One more thing is even when i i play passive mode,, the battery turns hot like if it was short or something.. i have cort c4 active mode and never had a heating battery issue..

Can someone help me??

Well something's not right so check the battery - is it fresh, is it in the right way round, are there any loose wires while your back here?
Be systematic, track it down : )

It's late here, and I'll be off soon - do the basic, logical checks so the common possibilities are covered and when someone else pops in you'll have more info to pass on at least.

Good luck,
Maurie.

Welcome to TB! I wish you would have checked this, before you bought it.

If you can't return it, or really want to keep it, pics of the control cavity would be helpful... good pics, of the jack and battery compartment, if you can.

This is new?

Battery getting hot is serious. It may be in backwards - it will get hot pretty quick. Or there is a short circuit somewhere. Both will cause no output.

Everything is by no reason turns fine..
So i bought a new battery the first one,, its a rechargeable battery (i cn't tell the brand) it turns hot, no sound at all. Then,, i bought a new panasonic alkaline somehing like that, not rechargeable, first time no sound but later it is sounding good.. the conclusion i've learn here is the first battery i bought might be missrounded (-+) or it didn't compatible with my basses..

Finally thnx all for the response..
