New bass build and Aguilar pickup question.

Hello there bass friends. Just wanted to share my first build that I completed last spring. Its a fender mim standard 5 that I stripped down to wood and refinished in sonic blue nitro with a buffed satin finish. All hardware is new and has a maple warmoth neck, aguilar 60s pickups. so here is my dilemma. I absolutely love the bass and the way it plays but am not satisfied with the sound. Are the Aguilar 60s jazz pickups just really low output? They seem so much quieter than all of my other passive basses. Im not sure if the are just bad or thats how they are. I really love this bass and want to get it sounding right. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Let me reiterate I do like the tone but the output is unusually low.

If the volume of the 2 pickups is very low but a single pickup soloed is more normal then they are out of phase, just flip the wires on one pickup.
