Not sure if anyone has posted about this new Lightning Boy Audio NuVision Tube Preamp pedal, but wow! This thing is amazing. Check out the video below, tube heaven!

They build their stuff out of top notch components, and having owned several of Michael Mad Scientist contraptions, I cannot wait to get one of these.

I tried the NuVision at Namm . They were set up beside me. Although they didn't have a Rep there.

The board was just 3 pedals. The compressor, the preamp and the boost, overdrive? 12ax7 pedal.

I tried very hard to just buy the whole board . For real . There is a switch on the back for "nusvison" where the logo lights up in the bottom corner . Omg. I love those pedals. Definitely on my radar

Had this a few days now and I'm very impressed; fifth gear before it is nice to push it into deeper OD.

Still using it and still love it. I have it set to just a touch of hair when you dig in (or use the boost on the ParaEQ to push it). It isn't going anywhere soon...

Does the NuVision require a good EQ or HPF to tame it? The only recording I've heard on bass sounded a little boomy ...

A similar box (I think) that I've been on the hunt for is the Broughton Power Stage, but yeah, it's Broughton ...

No, it’s fine on it’s own and you can easily dial down the bass if you need to.

Exactly that. There is a lot of gain available although I always use it at unity which means fiddling with both In and Out when I go from active to passive bass. You can dial out the hair to get a decent clean too.
