Feeling very grateful for having Xavier Lorita build an instrument for me. Xavier is a master luthier from Barcelona, Spain. These are the first pics of the bass thus far (more to come later).
Here are the specs for the instrument:
Century 5/24/33"
-European black burl elm top
-Korina semi-hollow body.
-Hard maple and hard ash new with wenge runners
-Black ebony fretboard
-Custom Lorita split coil pickups with ebony covers
-Custom Lorita wooden bridge with Graph Tech piezo saddles.
-Natural satin finish.
.
This bass is similar to the Andres Rotmistrovsky bass:
