Lol I was gone for about 8 years...... I think last time I picked a bass was back in 2010.

I had a black EBMM Sting Ray and a Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe 5 in sunburst and a 4 stringer in white.

I grew up in NY and I wanted a Sadowsky bass for the longest time, but it was too dang expensive.

I JUST found out about the MetroExpress basses coming out in June which will be about $1900; so I might just jump into the deep end lmao.

We're all here for a short amount of time, what's an $1k in the grand scheme of things (figured a good quality bass would be around $900 or so). Heck, at least I got to play the bass I've always wanted.

Do it now, after retirement and fixed income, you'll have to cut back on all that.
