hey bass brothers need som help i just tried to install fender vmode picups in my 2000 mim jazz bass 3 knob vol ,bridge pic and neck pic followed the wiring diagram that came with pickups got sound from all but wont shut off compleatly no huming noise (the reason for the change) tried another way still not working properly wired it standard style (like it was originally )works but grounding sound is back should mention change all the pot used all fender stock help???

Double-check all of your ground connections. "Won't shut off completely" and "wired it standard style ... grounding sound is back" both suggest to me a grounding issue.

Do you have a multimeter? If you do, check the resistance from the bridge to the ground side of the output jack - it should be zero. An ungrounded bridge (or bridge ground connected to the wrong place) will cause hum issues.

Well I’m no Tec but you seemed to miss the fact I followed the wiring diagram from fender with all fender parts and when I did that the sound wasn’t coming through properly as far as tone and volume for the control for both pick ups that’s the major issue

Aside from the schematic, it's always better to do the job with the right tools. A multimeter is essential in tracing out the circuit and finding miswiring or faulty components. You need to eliminate both.
Maybe post a photo of the wiring for us to review?
