New Pickguard Day...

I wanted to replace this hideous photo finish tort on my Ibanez Talman 310 because it was a real eyesore. "Why didn't you replace it with real tort?" Because I don't kill endangered species. I got this white pearloid from Pickguard Planet because I missed a bass I had way back in the day that had the same paint/pickguard configuration. Probably not for everyone but I like it. The bass is a deeper metallic flake red than the photo shows.

I have a red P-Bass that had a black pickguard and I did the white pearloid too. It improved the looks 100%!

Their pickguards are kinda pricey but definitely high quality. They have a ton of the less-common templates on file so you likely won't need to trace yours out and send it to them.

What are actual colorS on that Tort? Looking for one to put on my TMB35.
Looked at Pickguard Planet & they have a few interesting ones

It should be noted that it looks much different in person than the photograph.... Better, actually. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
If you really are talking about that ugly tort, that was the stock one that came with the instrument. It's a photo finish and really detracted from the appearance of the bass.

I’m looking to put a reddish tort on that mint green. Think it will offset nicely. I saw a couple different ones on PP that looked interesting. One was a red & black (not tort) mix in I think 4 layer. Looks promising.
