Perhaps I'm reading this incorrectly, but I do not like the idea of requiring re-verification of each device every 30 days.Legit. Just pull down your user menu and select "two step verification" to set up.

Me either. Price you pay these days I guess, maybe? So much hacking and crap. Not like the good old days.
Well, sadly I followed directions and set it up on my home computer this morning. Now it will not let me get on, says to enter the code that has been sent but that code of course is now no longer valid as fifteen minutes has passed, and there does not seem to be any way I can request a new code. I am currently writing this on my work computer, don't know what will happen when I switch this one off - I thought I had ticked the box to stay on with my home computer.
Help - is there any way I can remove the two-step verification? I wish I had never heard of it. Alternatively, how do you request an email of a new access code?
Edit: I just found the disable button so have disabled it on this computer, so hopefully same should apply also to my home computer.
Memo to self: Don't blindly follow internet advice.
So it is Google Authenticator you use for the "Verify via app" option?
