Wife and I were watching Little People Big World tonight, and they mentioned taking a ride to a small town called Birkenfeld in Oregon. Well, being pretty bored with the show, I googled the place. Nice little rustic town, and with a great tavern called The Birk. I copied the picture from Google.

So.... what's wrong with this picture?

So what's wrong with this picture? No guitar stands!!!! Arghhhhh!

Wife and I go down to Oregon a few times a year to visit the kids. Might have to make this a stop... looks like a lot of fun...
Might even ask to sit in and play a song... :)

Cool place.

The only issue I see is the guitar and bass should be strings down. Strings help for grip on whatever the instrument is leaning on and you avoid irritating dings to back of neck that way as well.

I never bring a stand. Less clutter on a small stage the better. Gigbag, floor, amp or chair works just fine. Just lean it the correct way.

I always bring my cheapie collapsible guitar stand to all my gigs.
When not in use it folds up and it fits in my backpack.
Admittedly it's plastic with some minor metal reinforcement but it is far superior to the accident waiting to happen by just leaning my guitar against an amp.

I was going to say the guitars are on the wrong side of the stage why are they by the SVT looking amp?

I was in a blues band with a guy that bought a vintage Super Reverb after his wife said "Me or Music". The divorce was easy on him - he didn't have any money. Them there's the blues.

o/~ I got the wife-left-me-cause-I-can't-stop-buying-guitar-stuff-really-not-even-actual-guitars blues... ~\o
