Noiseless gen4 pickup series problem

Hi guys ...
Long story short ...
I Took out the preamp on my American Elite Precision ... doing some mods on it ... going VVT

I just talked to the Luthier doing the new wiring on a series / Parallel switch but he just told me that the G4 noiseless bridge doesn’t sound when in series though it is working fine when in standard parallel ...

any ideas with this pickup in series ?
The P pickup which is actually a PV63 pickup works fine in series

so any info ... I’d appreciate it very much.

It's hard to really guess at why this may be in any specific sense, other than to just say "your luthier wired it wrong."

The intention is for both the B and P pickup

Any one has a wiring for series/parallel for Split Coil P and Jazz Bridge pickups?

or there is something with a noiseless pickup ... we are going to test with a different pickup to see if is the wiring ...

Noiseless pickups can be used in series/parallel just fine - it's not the pickup.

Here's a typical series/parallel arrangement for a two pickup bass (you can ignore the fact that this shows two J pickups, it's the same either way):

My tech found a way and finally he got it to work, apparently the std series parallel for Jazz Bass is a bit different due to the split coil precision.

Couple of weeks since the all passive mod has been done.

The Elite precision is a great bass but leaving it passive and with the series/parallel switch for the PV63 and 4gen J pus and the rotary 6 switch with 6 different caps along with the VVT pots have made this bass a powerful instrument … I just can’t believe such an improvement.
