nordstrand blade 5

greetings mr nitti from a fan. i know you are a nordstrand player. I have a nordstrand 5 string pickup, blade technology. I have an old ibanez 4 with a neck i absolutely love because it's narrow, and the typical ibanez/bartolini dimensioned soapbar pickup in the neck position that i absolutely hate. Nordstrand will fit the space. Is there any conceivable downside to putting a blade type for a 5 into the space under 4 strings. too much magnet lead to trouble? is there such a thing as too much magnet?
