How many of you guys would be interested in that? I totally think it fit in well with the Kingston Lineup. Personally I believe that it might be a more versatile and usable tone, more so than the AG signature. The AG bass is great, but it really is meant for Gospel. The norm bass might more applicable to a wider range of music. Just curious.

THANKS GUYS!!!

I think the A Gouche Sig. is the best sounding MTD to my ears. It can do the trebly tone like other MTD models and it has the bottom tone that most MTDs lack.

However, I do think it would be great if Mr. Tobias made a Kingston version on the N Stockton Sig. bass.

Could you point me to a good sound demo showing off the bottom end? I feel like Most recordings I've heard lack that and I'm Shocked to hear it can do that.

I think Mr. Gouche can eq any tone he wants with his AG Sig bass.

Good Examples

I'm shocked to hear anyone thinks that MTD's CANT do big bottom tones or almost any tone, for that matter. Who says they don't, pray tell? I think that most everything Michael T makes can do just about any type of musical style out there.
I may be wrong, but I have seen tons of Youtube videos featuring MTDs and I have not heard big bottom tones.

David Dyson's back in the day MTD has a lot of bark. I don't hear that tone or the tone of Mr. Gouche's MTD with other MTD models.

I would never rely on you tube for a real representation of ANYTHING music related. Go play one. I have played many. The only one I own right now is a Tobias Killer B 5 string and used it as my main gigging bass for over ten years for many styles and genres. I have been playing professionally for 50 years. But don't take my word for it go play one. If you can't get low tones out of it, it's not the bass it's the amps problem.

I hope to play one sometime this year. However, my opinion is based on what I have seen and heard on Youtube.

None of the MTD's that I have owned were weak in the bass - maybe someone messed up the electronics on the ones you have heard? Mine have had great low end with the controls flat and could be bass monsters with just a tiny bit of boost.

Basing your opinion of a bass on YouTube videos is like basing your information of the world on Fox News.

Youtube may not be perfect, but it gives you a general idea of what bass sounds like!
I have seen Andrew Gouche play live (Cafe Cordiale) on multiple occasions.
His MTD's tone was the same live as it is on Youtube.

I've also seen Sekou Bunch (Carvin SB5) and Hadrien Feraud (Smith) live at the Cafe Cordiale.
I preferred the tone of Andrew Gouche's MTD over the Carvin SB5 and Smith. I love the tone of the AG Signature!

The three basses that Norm Stockton plays sound good, but I am not blown away by them.

I am not here to debate about MTD basses, because I think they are great basses!
