NPD Valeton OC-10

I recently was looking for a pedal that sounded like an analog octaver without altering the tone by an octave and found nothing that really suited my needs, so i went with a normal octave instead. I mostly play my 6 string, so it's not too much to ask to just go an octave higher when i flip it on.

Since I had a bit of credit with thomann, i decided to give the Valeton OC-10 a try.
All by itself with the -1 octave dimed and dry and -2 octave at zero,
it sounds a bit moog'ish, which is really what i was looking for.
The housing feels reassuringly strong and the knobs work perfectly.
The tracking is sweet. On my active 6 it produces usable output all the way down to the low G.
It even tracks the B string's lowest frets, but the output is too much for my bedroom amp.

It has been a long time for me to buy a cheap pedal from the far east, but right now, I'm happy.
