NPUP day -- Lace Man o' War j-bass pickups

New pickup day! I just got some used (new to me) Lace Man O War Jazz Bass pickups (right here in the TalkBass classifieds). Had the local tech put 'em in my MIM Fender j-bass... They sound awesome! The bridge pup is super punchy, great slap sound. The neck pup is pretty "thick" sounding, almost p-bass-ish in a way. So far I'm loving them. Definitely a big upgrade. Thumbs up!

I don't see much about the jazz bass version of the Man O' War pickups, so I wanted to give a brief report.

Well, to each their own! I have liked, and yet sold, many basses and other items in my life. I get it. Sometimes you don't "bond".
