NSD! New Strap Day

A few months ago I got an email about Scott's Bass Lessons "SBL" strap.
It just so happens my initials are SBL. So I clicked the link and saw the strap embossed with SBL. Ok, I needed this in my life. But....sold out.

We'l right before Xmas the were back in stock and I pulled the trigger.

Although it was not cheap, $117.00 shipped, I'm really pleased.
The color and workmanship are excellent. The width is perfect and it has a ton of adjustabiliy to go from under armpit jazz to Duff knuckle dragging.
The fact it' "personolized" is icing on the cake.

Looks well made! How long does it go? Being of large circumference myself, and playing some large-bodied ABGs, I'm always interested in hearing about new comfy long straps...

It goes pretty long. It has 3 holes in the butt end. I'm large and it still has adjustment room.
What I really like about it is that it' very well made but not nearly as heavy as say, my Gibson FatBoy strap. I love that strap but it's so heavy it almost defeats it's purpose.

I went on a long search for good straps. Nothing at GC or other local shops felt good. Anything decent was approaching what I could get online for cheaper.
The Gibson strap was $150.00. It' a great strap. But expensive and heavy. It tames my 450lb Aria SB-1000.
I had huge buyers remorse at first until I gigged with it. Now I'm convinced with straps, you get what you pay for.
I had remorse on the SBL too until I got it. I'd rather pay for a great strap I'll use than pay less for a GC strap that'll end up in the parts drawer.
