Just found out about the 600mhz wireless spectrum being illegal soon. Of course, my Audio Technica system (rather pricey when I bought it years ago) operates in the 600mhz range. I'm still good until 2020 but decided to buy a new system. Came across the NUX B2 system. Transmitter/Receiver dongles. No batteries and no wires. Rechargeable with 20hr stage life under a full charge.

Anyone have experience with this system? I looked at the XVive system too. Anyway, it looks like the 2.4ghz is the go to these days.

i never understood these super-cheap systems where the receiver was battery-powered too, what's the point of that?

for dirt-cheap "hobby band" wireless i wouldn't go cheaper than a line 6 G10; it auto-scans for clear channels, the receiver is wall-powered, it has like less than 4ms latency (way better than the rest) and is still only like $170.

for working band wireless i wouldn't go cheaper than a line 6 G30; hell, i'm seeing refurbs of those online for just about the same price as the G10!
