Official Mesa Boogie Subway Series Club

Ive had lot of success with my Walk about on small gigs and huge gigs too... This amp could fill in the hole that MESA currently has in its product line up. I only wish they would make a real 1000 watt walkabout. But this could be cool..

Thats if the 800 watts is as actual 800 watts... But im sure this will be a real 800.. maybe more than 800.......
There was a boutique amp builder on here a few years ago.. All analog amps that made his 550 amp into a 750.. reasoning was that His amp sounded as loud as others 750 watt amps.. Thats why he raised the rating and name.
. Im calling Bobby Vega today to hear his opinion...
Im not 100% sure but i Know that Andy from Genz is now working for MESA.. I DON'T know for sure, but it does have a few of what i call his his signature build features that look familiar... One being the DI out on the new D800.... I repeatedly get good results and comments from engineers when i use my Genz Benz DI out.. So, if this is partly or in whole his brainchild. This could be a winner... i know genzler is coming with new cabs and amps soon.. .Looking very good too... ..
Lots of good product coming out this year.... Choices , choices... Im down sizing my big rig to smaller 112s this season.. I use IEM 90% of the time and i dont need my wrecking ball rig on anything.. Ill do a few 6000 seaters when out on the road to bar gigs when im home..
I wind up playing louder on bar gigs than even an arena setting.. . Monitors and IEMs are great!

I went to a Mesa seminar two weeks ago and asked Randal Smith if they were going to release any Class D amps.. His silence and body language gave it away.. even though he said No Comment... LOL.. No comment from Randal is funny because the man has great stories... Great Stories!

.
Ooh... Color me interested!

No real difference in volume between 800W and 1000W, and let's not forget this is a portable rig.

I'm interested to see what happens to the rest of the range in the coming months...

Only with new cabs is it mentioned that they're made in the USA. No mention of where the Subway is made, so I'm assuming overseas?
Handcrafted in the USA
