Is it possible on the TalkBass forum to indicate who the original poster is in a thread? Often times I skim threads for the posts my the creator of the thread so that I can see if there was resolution to whatever the issue was.

I see this in other forums(usually a banner on the OP's posts) and wondered if TB has that capability.

Thank you!

Bump to the top, for those who are wondering if this function exists. 🤓

In the new version of the software, the "OP"/"author" indicator has changed from the previous "word bubble" to an abstract "person and pencil" icon that appears under the avatar & user name of the person who started a given thread, anywhere they post within that thread:

(I roll in dark mode, but it's still there in the light mode too.)

That's how you can tell who the OP is, anywhere, any time. 🤓

Thank you, and carry on!

It does. Look to the left of the user names of the posts. There will be only one with the little "cartoon word bubble" icon next to the name. That's the OP.

It's subtle, but once you get used to looking for it, you'll spot it more easily.
