We’re generally more electric bass on this side but, like Bruce said, that’s probably fixable. At worst, you could save the fingerboard and maybe headstock and use them on a new neck.
I'm with Bruce and Matt. Fix it if you can; if not part it out and salvage what is usable. From the pics, we have no idea of the condition of the top, back, and ribs.
I asked that guy via FB if he was interested in snapping the neck the rest of the way off and sending it down to NC but for the asking price, it still wouldn’t make sense. I’d love to have another project bass!
