So I just bought an obscure single 15" ported cab with an Electro Voice Force speaker.
It's a Dean Markley 115FH which I guess is quite similar in design to a Music Man 115RH cab.
If I plug the main speaker output on the B25 with a "Dummy Plug" and then power the speaker from the extra speaker output will I be matching impedances correctly?
And by "Dummy Plug" I can use a 1/4" plug that's got no cables attached?
Would you call this a good pairing of cabinet design/speaker/ amp character and specs. if I can match impedances? Will I be able to get at the B25 under the current circumstances?

Yes the B25 with a dummy plug will switch to the 8 ohm tap on the “ext speaker” jack. Cant comment on the sound of the cab, but from an impedance perspective it should work.

For the future, it’s also possible to rewire the jacks on these for separate 8 and 16 ohm connections. I’ve done it on both B25 heads I’ve owned and for others.
