I know! In the studio, her background vocals could be really effective. Live, it was hit or miss at best.

In her defense, though, she had never played a musical instrument until Paul insisted she learn elementary keyboards. Also, she had never sang in public until he insisted she be part of Wings. She was like his musical security blanket, and even though she clearly wasn't enthusiastic about it, she joined his band to make him happy.
