Hey there. Thanks for checking out my post. I have a question about the legendary Peavey F800B and the 2ohm load capabilities.
I understand that the head is 2ohm stable (like a lot of the 70s Peavey stuff), but I was wondering if in order to feed the amp a 2ohm cab (yes I have a 2ohm wired cab), do both 4ohm outputs on the head have to be used at the same time to equal 2ohms? Or can a single output be used, wired to a 2ohm cab and run the head at 2ohms?
I guess an easier way to ask this question is.... if anyone has used this amp at a 2ohm load... how are you wiring it?
