peavey pro 810 vs ampeg fridge

I see a peavey pro 810 for $200 CDN. Just wondering how these stack up against an ampeg 810. I'd like to check it out but I'm out of town for another month.

I love good old peavey and always thought their BW speakers sound punchy. The pro 810 has blue marvels though.

I would at least check it out, 200 for an 810 is a great deal. You couldn't buy an empty cabinet for that price. How it would fare against an ampeg is subjective, at least tone wise, but I've yet to play a peavey that I didn't like.

I would if I were in town. He'd deliver it for an extra $50, but I may just wish I bought a fridge. Besides, I'm not too excited about lugging it in and out of the basement. More of a hypothetical thread.
