Bought this 1992 amp used. It worked during demo. Seemed like dirty gain pots. Got it home. Cleaned input jacks and rotary control pots. Now it's dead. Speaker, fuses check out good. LOL.
Thanks for your reply. I used an electronic contact spray cleaner, and manually exercised the controls. I ended up taking it in to an amp service guy. I should hear something soon. Thanks for your reply.
Pulled the amp section out and sprayed any opening I could see on the pot and worked them. Didn't fix it. I discovered from a tech that it was a problem with a cracked headphone jack. Also similar problem from dirty oxidized switching jacks for the amp in and amp out section. Also the effect loop switching jacks were guilty.
