Peavey Tour TKO v Max 115?

I've been shopping for a new amp. I have a Fender Rumble 60, it sounds great and is nice and simple to use, but I'm confident it won't keep up with a drummer and two electric guitarists. I know people will encourage me to rely on DI into the FOH, but I'm not confident that will be a reliable solution. I'm not sure I have ever played a gig where that was an option.

Peavey has been striking my fancy nd I am torn between the Tour TKO 115 and the Max 115.

Anyone using either one (ideally someone using or have used both?)

Is the Max loud enough?

Is the TKO easy enough to live with given how big it is?

What kind of music are you playing? Can you afford either one new? Do you have a good sized band and members who will help you move your amp?
I never played it, but if I remember correctly, the TKO weighed a ton and was a BIG cube. Now, if you can live with that, I heard it was a very dependable loud combo. I would suspect louder than the Max 115. But the Max 115 will be more transportable, and probably capable in covering most of your gigs.

Give us a little more information to help out.

Style will be basically rock. I've been auditioning and I feel like having sufficient gear is part of being prepared for the audition.

I actually had a local shop offer me a very good price on the TKO ($300) so my shopping is over.

The TKO is a big beast of an amp, it only barely fits in the trunk of my car, but it sounds good and seems to be loud enough for any situation I care to be in.

I'd love for Bobby from Peavey to weigh in on why they chose to put the radius on the front face....it adds a good couple of inches to the cabinet depth making it a bit less portable with no obvious advantage.

Well, let's see if @BbbyBld drops by for a visit. He's pretty good about answering questions for Peavey users. Myself, I also found the TKO a bit bulky, so I went the Peavey MiniMax route, separate head. But your amp will probably last as long as your last grandson!
And then some!

Thanks Bobby! It's awesome that Peavey has you as their spokesman to the TalkBass community and that Peavey is the only manufacturer I'm aware of with a Talkbass presence.
It is great that peavey have a voice here. But just FYI it's not just peavey with a talkbass presence. Genz benz, genzler, Mesa, aguilar also have a presence on here. I have a feeling hartke may pop in too, but not totally sure
