Pedaltrain hardcase question - bumping knobs?

I'm thinking of upgrading my board to pedaltrain jr. I currently have a high quality rack style case with a flat board for my 8 pedals and was thinking of getting pedalboard jr solely for the sake of having cleaner looking board (cables beneath the board) and having 1 power supply attached to it instead of using 2 wall warts like now.
However, I'm used to my case foam not touching pedals and bumping knobs as they sit flat below it, so I'm wondering if pedaltrain (classsic jr) hard case foam bumps back row pedal knobs when you put them in the case?
It might be a deal breaker for me and I'd just keep the board which I have (had for 6-7 years).

Yes, the pedal train hard case will contact the knobs, especially pedals on the top row, when the case it closed. The top is lined with a thick layer of convoluted "egg crate" foam rubber. If the foam wasn't inside the case, your pedals' knobs would be bumping against the hard wood/laminate in the case.

Does it cause the knobs to move? What if you stuff some foam/towels on the sides with the board so that the board doesn't move around? Does the top foam still touch the pedals?

Well, after considering the cost of getting a pedaltrain (and a CS7 power brick later on), I'd be spending around $350 (European prices are higher) and that's quite a lot of mullah.
Weighing pros and cons, it would be foolish of me to do this.

I'd miss the convenience of just taking the case top off and having the board ready, or quickly putting the top on the board to protect it during pauses in between sets if necessary. Not to mention it already is a heavy duty rack style case. Not like it takes me a long time to plug in 2 wall warts and have it ready to go.

What I really need is a new bass case rather than redoing what already works great, so I'll be getting that :D

So I decided to simply tidy up my board cabling a bit with some plastic ties.
Voila, looks clean and tidy. A dedicated wall wart for the TC Repeater and a 1 Spot for everything else. Hardly a hassle.

PS: It'd be a shame to lose all the stickers I've decorated it with too xD

To avoid knob 'bumpage" I recently took all my knobs off, placed rubber washers on the pot shafts, then put the knobs back on.
They still turn, but you have to mean it.
They don't turn in the case, or even if I accidentally kick them.
Like this, except I use black ones from the hardware store.
