Phil Jones vs TC Electronics micro amp heads

Wondering if anyone has had experience with both the Phil jones 200 watt and any of the TC 200-500 watt heads. Looking for as close to a B15 warm sound as I can get from a smaller amp head. Playing a G&L Fullerton Fallout Deluxe and a vintage fancy wood early Schecter.

I’ve managed to get pretty darn close to my ‘66 B-15n sound with the Trace Elliot ELF head. I’ve used it with a 15”, a 12” and a 10” cab and been able to dial it in on all three.

well, I do have a TC combo and had a TC preamp and I to me they both sounded warm. as I understand, Warwick Gnome has a similar tonal profile. that might not be a B15, but a mid-heavy sound that is kinda closer to vintage side.

Phil Jones to me sounds bright, sparkly and HiFi. I own a combo and a micro-head (not the 200 tho). not in a bad way, but that's not a B15 or anything near.

I had the TC BAM200, great little piece of equipment...

Besides, nowadays I have the Gnome I from Warwick. One cay point they look pretty the same, but the Gnome also packs USB interface and the EQ section seems for effective to my taste.
