Pick up fit

hi everyone
I was thinking on changing my bass pick ups. A friend of mine recommended me to go for some Bartolini soapbars, but my dout is if they fit into my base or not, can you guys help me with this?

I would rather have the humbuckers in that M.P. than Bartolini soapbars.

Amazon's description says they're replacements for EMG40, so here's the dimensions for EMG40:

Thanks for the data. The thing is i want to improve the sound of the base, i'm looking for a clear and warm sound, kind of like a jazzy sound, that's when a friend suggested i get a couple of bartolini soapbars. Why would you,

I once owned a Mexican Fender Blacktop, which had the same pickups as your Modern Player. To me, there was nothing missing with those pickups.

I would suggest you do your research before buying a random set of pickups just because they have Bartolini printed on the cover.
See if you can find some sound clips.
