So, in about a month or two i am going to play with some friends in the street, some jazz tunes and such, but i have a problem.
Me and the guitarrist are going to use amps (30 and 10 watts respetively) and we don't have any power plug nearby .
What do you think could be the solution to this problem ?

well, if you need power, you have to run extension cords.
The length of the run will determine the cable gauge.. in other words... if you need to run 100' length, you'll need something a little more robust than the standard 16 or 18 gauge cable.
12 or 14 IMHO

Battery powered amps.

Look into car audio amps.
I almost suggested that myself, but it would be tricky. Car amps require power connections to be the size of battery cables if the amp is going to deliver any significant wattage (say 100 watts or more), and something would have to be rigged for the speaker connection as well, as car amps don’t accept 1/4" or Speakon plugs.

Still, it’s doable if someone wants to take the trouble. But as with the power inverter I mentioned above, they’ll have to keep the car running to keep from draining down the battery.
