Played with a couple of fellow dinosaurs last week and tonite and tomorrow night we are auditioning singers. Am still excited with the fire of youth.
Practiced for 3 hours today and interchanged 5 basses to decide which will go to-nite. Will take something different tomorrow night.

That's a great feeling to have for sure.
I'm currently the same way with my most recent project...we're sort of up and running over a year, but between covid, work and all sorts of other health /family issues, it's been very much a stop-start thing. Last few weeks I feel it's all finally coming together.
