Are you constantly clearing your cookies? Something is keeping it from being set and saved...

I'm in the few dozen times now club. I routinely check TB on laptops, and multiple pcs at home and work, and every week or two I get the dreaded question. No cookie clearing here. Hopefully they figure this out.

You probably have your browser set to delete cookies when you close the browser (you know, like all computer security people urge you to do). Well, for some reason "don't enable push notifications" is set as a cookie rather than as part of your user profile, so "Never" actually means "Till you close your browser".

Nope. TB changed, not my browser settings across multiple computers. And no other site does this.
