...it seems a good time to poll fans of Sadowsky basses on their favorite bass finishes. Please choose from one to three from the list. Of course, as we are on TalkBass, Carrots is one option.

What no transparent Cherry? No light transparent Blue? Well ok, that last one is really rare, even in NYC customs.

Here are mine, (FOR COLOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY), lol, a transparent Cherry NYC p/j 4, and Candy Apple Red older metro 5. These are my best (electric) instruments.

Bora Blue burst is my absolute favorite Sadowsky color. Would love to see that as a more available option one day. Sage Green Metallic and Tobacco Burst are a close second....

BUT...... having a one-of-a-kind Satin model is pretty cool too.

Here is the Sadowsky light blue I really like. It was a nyc custom color. This instrument was the bass stolen from Kevin "Swine" Grantt, Nashville cat who worked with Brad Paisley, among others.

It was replaced, and then (I think) returned.

IMO a good 3 tone sunburst with tort and Rosewood fret board. Makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. I'm sure that finish makes me play better.

Thanks for the responses. Please keep them coming. ...aaaand Oly White is in the lead! Tobacco Burst a close second. I guess I am surprised at the low number of votes for Japan-made instruments. Mine are exceptional.
