Possible damaged neck

Hi all. The worst thing imaginable happened last night.

I attended my local jam night with my band. Once packed up and heading out the door someone knocked Into me. I stumbled forward and fell to the floor.. the worst part I landed on my Ibanez SR400 bass which was in a soft case!!!

when I opened the bag the E string was shredded and hanging on by a thread. None of the pegs are bent. It was only when I tested the action where I found my problem.

All my strings now have serious fret buzz. I try and play any note on the strings and I do not get a note. I would describe is the same as heavy palm muting.

I think I could have landed on the neck causing it to straighten. What do you think? Is there anything I can do or is this the end of my bass?

Update

I've added new strings and it seems better however I am getting fret buzz at various points.

E string 1st fret is just all buzz and rattle, 1st fret D string is a slight buzz.

D string 7th fret is a slight buzz but the 9th fret is pretty much muted when I play. Once I get to the 11th/12th string it's fine again.

Did the nut crack? Are any of the frets visibly coming up out of the neck? Check them all with a fret rocker or even a good credit card. Do (or have done) a full setup. If nothing is visibly broken, something got knocked out of whack. A full setup will tell the tale.

The nut hasn't cracked. and no frets are coming out of the neck from what I can tell. I'll get it in for a full set up. I'm not doing that myself

Okay so the guitarist in my band has worked on setups in a shop in the past. he's just been round to have a look.
he's adjusted the neck slightly and found the saddles on the bridge were low on the D and G string. Everything seems fine now. Only issue is the 1st fret E string buzzes.
