Power Cable for Ampeg SVT-3 PRO?

Hello,

I am very excited about purchasing my very first bass amp head. Even more excited about the price! I bought it second-hand from a small pawn shop from out of town.

The amp is an Ampeg SVT-3 PRO.

I knew the price I paid was likely too good to be true. Now that it arrived in shipping, I'm seeing why: It didn't come with a power cable!

Can anybody help me out identifying the specific type of power cable I would need for this specific amp and where I could go about ordering one? I am not particularly tech-savvy and I don't want to get the wrong one for this amp.

Most of the Ampeg stuff I own has always come with or needed a really good quality power cord. For most of the MOSFET series, SVT 3,4,5,6 etc., I would recommend something rated at 13 amps, got my last one on e-bay for like $15.00 or so, give or take. Unlike most of the tube amps regardless of make, that warm up somewhat slowly(the two minute drill) the MOSFET kind of stuff, even if my terminology is not correct, is like the Boxer breed of dog, hyper, instant on sort of. In my days I did a fair amount of “Roadie” work, and being a Virgo birth sign with OCD, I could always tell what cord went to what. The Ampeg cords were always the “bull rope “ in the storage container. Never needed to mark them I just knew. Some of the power situations I have encountered both at rehearsals, and venues would make your hair stand on end even if you didn’t know who Thomas Edison, or Tesla(not the band, the other guy) was. I own and use the following Ampeg models, V4BH (USA), TWO SVT 5 Pro’s(sorry, OCD), and a SVT 6 Pro. The V4 is kind of like being back in the 60’s, flip the power switch, and it’s like” Hey Dude I’ll be with you in a minute”. The others are totally different, like” I’ve been powered on for a few seconds, why are you not ready to play?. Now in saying all of this I just know that someone out there is an electrical engineer, MIT Grad, who will say I’m crazy(I already know that), and totally wrong. Well maybe. Look at things this way, where else can you get peace of mind for $15.00. Get a good cord, maybe a spare, put your name on them if your road people are somewhat “lame”, so that the Guitar guys with the Dual Recto’s don’t try to appropriate them.
