Disclaimer: I'm new to the world of Pedalboards and such. And know very little about this topic.

I need a power supply for these four pedals:
Aguilar ToneHammer
Aguilar Agro
Aguilar Octamizer
Polytune 2

I'm considering a Donner Power Supply but I heard that their not an isolated ground power supply (I don't know what that means)

Can someone tell me if that power supply would work with my pedals?

Thanks!

I don't have an Iso5 but I can attest for the quality of the PP2 and it really has made my life so much easier since buying one. Isolated basically means the power isn't daisy chained (I believe the Dunlop brick is this way) and each pedal gets clean power, not all of them drawing from the same line (I'm a layman so this isn't technical) and your effects will work the way they're supposed to. Even if you're not using high draw pedals it's worth investing in, although it's natural to look for a cheaper option. When I bought mine I throught it was such a waste, but it's great.

Been using the MXR IsoBrick for a few months. Can't say enough good things about it: isolated outputs, powers 9v, 18v and pretty much anything in between thx to 2 variable outputs. It also has outputs with higher mA's... really flexible tool. Element to consider: has a rather unorthodox "2-tiered" shape for a powersource, which could prove to be a bit a puzzle to fit on some board. But otherwise, typical MXR product: quality stuff !!

can I power a pedal that requires 18volts along with the others that only require 9-volt using a OneSpot?

You can, but you'll need the voltage doubling adapter cable that is also made by one spot. It will basically connect two of your 9v connectors. If you aren't trying to spend a lot of money, this is probably your best bet, as your aren't going to get dramatically better quality until you get something like the ISO 5 or similar isolated bricks.

A OneSpot does not have multiple isolated outputs so you cannot use two connectors to get 18v. It's 9v no matter how many you connect together since it's just a daisy chain.

The only way I know of to get 18v from a OneSpot is with this:
Amazon.com: Godlyke Power-All IP-1 Iso-Pump Voltage Converter for Effects Pedals: Musical Instruments

I have also been considering upgrading from the one-spot to an isolated power source...
In researching I found this thread and the ISO-5 as well. However, I am noticing that the power cords for the Voodoo Lab stuff are straight connector (??) ... I would prefer if they connected to the pedals via a lower profile right angle.
is this an option ? or what other quality solutions would be recommended ?

Your board has 4 modern pedals - you don't NEED an isolated ground power supply. The only situation where you MUST have an isolated ground power supply is if you're using a positive-ground pedal, and those tend to be vintage boost pedals (Rangemaster) and fuzz pedals that use germanium transistors, or modern clones of these pedals. Practically ALL modern pedals are negative ground. The Donner supply should work fine for your pedalboard.

There are plenty of modern pedals that don't do well on a daisy chain. A lot of digital stuff is noisy as hell on a daisy chain. Really just depends on the pedals you have and how they work together. Having different polarities on the ground is not the only reason.

Harley Benton is re-branded Joyo. They are not isolated. It's lie.

You're probably confusing the Harley Benton Power Plant (old blue one, not isolated) with the Power Plant JUNIOR (new grey one, isolated).

Check it out, next to the Fuel Tank Junior (almost triple the price), a guy on Reddit made the gut shot. I'm no mechanic, but it powers my BMS flawlessly, which only works with isolated outputs.

You're right. I didn't know this new one existed. Oops.
