Cats are just meh. My dogs cost way more money to take care of, take way more work to keep happy, and seem to do what they can to destroy my house. It's worth it, though.

It's kind of like why anyone would bother playing bass. The equipment is way more expensive and you are probably a great musician, but you stand in the back and nobody ever hears you.
