Question about using the Sans Amp Bass Driver V2

Hello Everyone,

I recently grabbed a Sans Amp BDDI V2 and would like to use it to record myself. I believe I need to grab an audio interface; I would connecting the BDDI to the audio interface using the XLR out (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Some of the threads discussing this are a couple years old. Is there a go-to recommendation for an audio interface for this use case?

Thanks!

I just got one too.

Doesn't need to plugged into the XLR of the interface, as I don't have a spare cable I'm taking it out from the unit to my interface using the regular jack output/input. Of course it won't give you the phantom power that XLR can provide but connects the pedal to my computer just fine.

So many interfaces I'll let somebody on here who's more 'bassy' than me reply (I'm using my MOTU Ultralite as I'm a synth guy just recently adding bass to my setup).

Out of curiosity, does the quality of the interface (assuming it is functional) make that much of a difference? Part of me assumes that, provided the thing converts the signal accurately, they should all sound the same. Is that generally the case or am I mistaken?
